A firm and chewy red with lots of wood and bark character to the red-fruit and hazelnut undertones. It’s medium-bodied with firm tannins and a fresh, vivid finish. Needs to soften a little. Tempranillo. Better after 2022.

This magnificent wine expresses the potential of Tempranillo in its full splendor. 2016 was a climatologically extraordinary year, with an unusual freshness, that resulted in a slow ripening of the grapes and exceptionally velvety tannins in this wine. Due to these characteristics, evolution in bottle will be very promising as the years go by.
