Shipping & Delivery

After your order has been accepted, we will confirm with you the expected delivery date and time. Please inspect all your ordered items upon delivery, then sign and return the delivery note to our courier to confirm your acceptance of the Goods. 


Please notify our customer service hotline +852 3703 3380 immediately or send us an email ( cs@hocwines.com.hk ) if it is outside business hours in case of any breakages, shortages, or wrong order. We reserve the right to refuse any claim or request for product exchange or refund if you do not notify us of the irregularities and accept delivery of the Goods.


Delivery Charges

1.  

You may enjoy FREE DELIVERY to 1 commercial or residential address located in our Service Area ( see below ) on orders over HK$1,500 on our Website.

2.  

For other cases, delivery charges apply as follows:

HK$150 for purchase amount below HK$1,500;

♦  

HK$150 for redelivery arrangement; and

♦  

Additional delivery charge of HK$20 per case per floor apply to the address located above the 2nd storey where no elevator service is available.  Such additional delivery charge is to be paid in cash directly to the delivery driver when the items are delivered.


Service Area

1.  

We offer delivery service ONLY to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region areas including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories ( including Tung Chung and Discovery Bay ) commercial and residential addresses, and the passenger terminal ( non-restricted area ) of the Hong Kong International Airport only.

2.  

We reserve the right to refuse any request for the delivery to any of the following areas:


Outlying islands;


Non-permanent address;


Hotel guest rooms;


Restricted districts and areas that our vehicles cannot access; or


No authorized or legitimate unloading area within 50 meters of the building of the delivery address.

The delivery schedule may be altered due to seasonal factors (e.g. special promotional events) and festive periods as we may need to cope with a high volume of orders.


In-store Pickup

1.  

Please allow at least 3 working days for your Good(s) to be transferred and ready for pick-up.  We will contact you via email or phone about the pickup date and time or in case additional time is needed.

2.  

In-store Pickup is available at the following locations upon request:

  Business hours may vary during the pandemic.  

  Please contact us for updates prior to your arrival.  

3.  

Please collect your Good(s) at your requested pick-up location within 7 days from the designated date of collection during the specified business hours.  Otherwise, we reserve the right to transfer such goods to our warehouse for storage and charge you for rearrangement at our prevailing rates.  In such a case, you are required to settle any outstanding fees before rearrangement.

4.  

When you collect the ordered Good(s) from us, you or your authorized representative will be required to present your order confirmation for verification.  We may need you or your authorized representative to provide further information to verify your identity (such as your full name or other personal information under your account profile).  If we are not satisfied that the person requesting to collect your ordered Good(s) is yourself or your authorized representative, we reserve the right to refuse the collection of the ordered Good(s) in order to safeguard your interest.

5.  

Once the in-store pickup request is confirmed, no change of pick-up location will be accepted.

6.  

If your selected pick-up location is closed due to adverse weather conditions or any other uncontrollable factors, you may pick up the products in the same location on the next day when the store or office is opened.


Rainstorm Warning / Typhoon Signal

Delivery service may be delayed or suspended if red/black rainstorm warning is in force or typhoon signal no. 8 or above is hoisted.  We will try our best to arrange your order to be delivered according to the next available slot in our delivery schedule as above.  In this event, we shall contact you by phone or email to reschedule the delivery time.


Missed Delivery

1.  

It is your responsibility to inform us immediately of any change to your delivery address or preferred delivery time slot after placing an order and at least 1 working day before the originally scheduled delivery date or the day you wish to reschedule for delivery whenever earlier.  Any change request shall be made by the following means.

2.  

Please note that we will not leave your Goods at your door.  If you fail to accept your delivery upon the first delivery appointment or the delivery information you provided is inaccurate, we reserve the right to charge you for subsequent delivery(ies) or decline delivery of Goods to any customer at our sole and absolute discretion.


Uncollected or Undeliverable Goods

1.  

We may levy storage fees for purchased Goods that have been made available for collection but have not been collected, or which are ready for delivery but cannot be delivered, in either case, within 2 weeks of purchase for any reason, including without limitation Customer’s failure to pick up such Goods, failure to notify us of any change of address or refusal to take the delivery.  In each case, you are required to settle any outstanding fees before you can collect your order.

2.  

If the purchased Goods have not been collected or delivered from the date of the order confirmation or storage fees referred to above have not been paid for 2 months, we reserve the right to dispose of such Goods ( including resale of any Goods ) at our sole and absolute discretion, without any further notice to you and without having to account to you any proceeds ( if any ) arising therefrom.  We shall not be liable to make any refund or compensation to you, and we reserve the right to continue claiming you for the outstanding storage fees.


Exchange & Refund

1.  

Subject to paragraph 6 below, we accept exchange of Good(s) under HK$1,000 per item which is found in situations listed below:

Damaged or incomplete product packaging; or


♦  

Wrong order or delivery of purchased items


Otherwise, under normal circumstances, we would not accept any request for the return or exchange of products. Please DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY if you encounter any of the above situations.  You should notify us immediately by calling our customer hotline +852 3703 3380 ( during office hours 9:00 am – 6:00 pm ) or email to cs@hocwines.com.hk ( during non-business hours ).  We shall make arrangement for exchange within 7 days of receiving your message.  Otherwise, we do not accept any request for exchange of Good(s) or cancellation of Order(s).

2.  

Original sales receipt or relevant electronic receipt must be presented to us for the request of product exchange.

3.  

All Good(s) must be returned in the exact same condition as they were supplied, together with original packing.  Otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse the request for product exchange.

4.  

We do not accept any request for product exchange or return once the Goods & Services has been collected by the customer or delivery of the Goods & Services has been accepted by the customer.

5.  

If a request for a refund is accepted by us, the refund will be credited to your credit card bank account in about 4 - 6 weeks.

6.  

Upon receipt of your request for product return or exchange, we will make a determination, in our sole discretion, whether a product acclaimed to be damaged or defective was actually damaged or defective when originally sold or delivered to you.  Requests for product return or exchange will be reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis.  We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse to refund or exchange any product.  Wine and spirits products above HK$1,000 per item shall not be returned, exchanged, or refunded in any event.


Limitation of Liability

1.  

All expected delivery dates and time are estimates only.  We shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred or suffered by the customer as a result of any late delivery.

2.  

Title to the Good(s) shall remain vested in us until we receive full payment of the price, and risk shall pass to the customer upon delivery/collection of the Good(s) ( as the case may be ).

3.  

In case of any dispute, our decision shall be final.
